Alkaline Wash Permanent Hair Removal
DMK’s amazing ALKALINE WASH system is a unique formula that takes the pH of the skin to the opposite end of the pH Scale. The ALKALINE WASH has the ability to turn the pH of the skin from 5.6 to a pH of 12 in under three minutes. This action completely softens or desquamates the skin cells.
This dissolving action works on scar tissue, facial hair, razor bumps, acne, and any unwanted hair on any part of the body without the use of lasers. Alkaline swells, softens and dissolves skin and hair from the follicle.
This unique formula does not discriminate as to what kind of dead protein is dissolved so it will dissolve hair as well. This makes it very effective for the removal of unwanted hair on the body or face.
The DMK Alkaline Wash system is a remarkable treatment for all areas of the face, designed to reduce fine, downy hair. This type of hair is not suitable to be treated with IPL or Laser because it has no colour for the laser to target. Alkaline Wash can remove large areas of hair in one treatment without discomfort. After your first treatment, the hair will grow back at its normal rate, but as treatments progress the hair regrowth rate will become slower and the hair will weaken; usually resulting in a permanent loss over a period of time.

Due to differing amounts of hair per area and per person, the prices ranges on size and amount of hair. Best used on thinner, sparser hair contradictory to laser. Hair that has been treated via waxing or laser before are the best candidates.
Typically ranges between $50 for small patches up to $300 for large areas like legs. Price may also differ as hair is reduced and less solution is needed.

We start with a hot towel and exfoliating body wash to open the follicles. I use a hypoallergenic coconut wax to get the hairs without traumatizing the skin, and follow with transdermal skin care to prevent rawness and ingrowns. We also use a proprietary solution that inhibits hair - most clients get a 50% reduction in hair growth in only 3-5 sessions.
Brazilian Wax - RETURNING CLIENTS
Waxing for maintenance every 4-6 weeks can help the hair growth cycle to match up, maximizing the time it takes for new hairs to grow, thinning the hair, and in some cases causing permanent hair removal. This also helps the skin to self-exfoliate properly, reducing discomfort and ingrowns.
